What dancers are saying…
“I learned a plethora of tools and strategies to help quiet my inner critic and build my confidence. I don’t know where I would be today without Ashley. I went from not even being able to audition or take a class to booking the Radio City Christmas Spectacular as an Ensemble dancer.”
-HADLEY KOGER, PROFESSIONAL DANCER IN NEW YORK CITY
Hi, Dancer!
I’m Ashley, and I’m so glad you’re here.
As a teenage competitive dancer out of Dallas, I was my own worst critic. My fear of not being perfect was often debilitating. I was a people-pleaser who strived for her worth and identity from her dance teacher and awards. This led to years of anxiety and eventually burnout. But I thought it was just me.
When I began teaching, choreographing, and eventually directing a competition company while finishing my degree in psychology, I quickly realized I wasn’t alone in my struggles. I watched as some of my most talented dancers were stuck in fear or so overwhelmed by self-criticism that they just quit.
So, I decided to do something about it.
